That is the difference between revolutionaries and opportunists.
Freedom Was a War. RSS Chose Neutrality.
Colonialism is not defeated by morning drills. Empires don’t fall to slogans, uniforms, or discipline manuals.
They fall when people disrupt, disobey, bleed, and die. When the British ruled India with iron fists jails overflowed with Congress workers, revolutionaries were hanged, villages were burned, protests were crushed.
RSS did not fight.
RSS did not resist.
RSS did not suffer.
They chose ideological training camps over confrontation, because confrontation required courage and courage demanded consequences.
Silence Is Not Innocence. It Is Collaboration.
There is a lie repeatedly sold to Indians:
“We stayed away from politics.”
In a colonized nation, staying away from politics means staying loyal to the ruler.
When injustice is law, neutrality is betrayal. RSS leaders made it clear they posed no danger to British rule.
They carefully positioned themselves as harmless, disciplined, and non-threatening everything an empire loves in its subjects.
That is not cultural work.
That is colonial compliance.
Not Freedom Fighters Freedom Bystanders
Let’s be honest enough to say it out loud:
RSS did not oppose British rule because British rule didn’t threaten RSS’s project.
The British were foreigners but they allowed hierarchy, obedience, and control. RSS simply waited to inherit those tools.
No British guns pointed at them.
No sedition cases.
No hangings.
Because they never challenged power only waited to replace it.
Post-Independence Nationalism: The Safest Sport
RSS nationalism began after the risk expired. Once the British left, once the sacrifices were already made, once the battlefield was cleared RSS suddenly grew a spine.
This is not bravery.
This is career nationalism.
The easiest nationalism in the world is one practiced after freedom is guaranteed.
Anyone can be loud when no one is shooting. Stealing the Dead to Silence the Living
RSS today shamelessly uses the language, imagery, and legacy of freedom fighters it never defended.
They quote Bhagat Singh who despised religious nationalism.
They claim Bose who allied with armed resistance.
They praise martyrs while opposing dissent.
This is not respect.
This is grave robbery.
They dig up the dead to justify bullying the living.
Colonial Thinking, Indian Branding
RSS loves to scream about “anti-colonial pride.”
But ideologically, they function exactly like colonial rulers obedience over questioning,, uniformity over diversity.
Authority over liberty.
Nation over citizen.
The British wanted subjects.
RSS wants followers.
Same psychology.
Different accent.
Patriotism Without Sacrifice Is a Scam
You cannot lecture a nation on patriotism if you avoided the freedom struggle, reassured the oppressor, stayed safe while others died
Claimed victory you didn’t earn
That is not nationalism.
That is historical fraud backed by intimidation.
Final Truth (No Filters)
RSS did not free India.
RSS waited for India to be freed.
And now, they act like gatekeepers of a freedom they never fought for.
The loudest patriots are often the ones who arrived after the war.
India was built by rebels, not spectators.
By fighters, not fence-sitters.
By martyrs, not managers of ideology.
And history will always remember the difference no matter how loudly khaki screams.
